Eiffel Tower Bahria Town

In District Lahor, Punjab, Pakistan, a replica of the Eiffel Tower was built in 2013. It is located in front of the Grand Jamia Masjid on Bahria Town Boulevard in the Punjabi city of Lahore. Construction was done by Chinese Engineers. Numerous travellers come here to take pictures next to the Eiffel Tower in Lahore. Eiffel Tower Lahore is 80 metres tall.

Grand Jamia masjid lahore is the largest mosque in the country and is located in Lahore, Punjab. It was conceived as a large-scale project of the Universal Sufi Cultural Organization in 2003 and was designed by Bosco Architects, a multi-disciplinary practice based in Lahore.

The mosque consists of two buildings that are joined together by a central courtyard. The main prayer hall has an area of over 5000 square meters and can accommodate more than 10,000 people during prayers.

The art collection at Lahore Museum is dominated by the art of the ancient Egyptian civilization. The Egyptian collection is one of the largest and most important in Pakistan, with only a fraction on display at any time.

The collection includes sculptures, stone and limestone reliefs, wooden items, pottery and hieroglyphic inscriptions on papyrus. There are also sections for Greco-Roman and Coptic art; Islamic calligraphy; a sculpture gallery; woodcarving gallery and an adjoining exhibit of traditional Pakistani musical instruments.

The Lahore Museum was established in 1976 to house the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan’s second largest city, Lahore. When it first opened its doors to visitors in December 1978 it had an area of 600 square yards (540 square meters) with a strong orientation towards prehistoric archaeology. By 2009 the museum had grown to encompass over 100 acres (40 hectares).
