A garden has always been a place to rest and feel calm, but Shalimar Gardens takes it a step further. There is the sense of peace that you get after walking through their paths. In addition to the fragrant trees, shrubs, and flowers, the fountains seem to offer endless amounts of space for your thoughts to wander.
Shalimar Garden is a park located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was built during the Mughal era. The garden is believed to be named after Prince Salim.
There are two entrances to the park, one from Shalimar Road and another from Lawrence Road. The garden covers an area of approximately 27 acres and houses a variety of plant species that include cypresses, fruit trees and rose bushes.
